Biography
Chou-Feng Tsui is the Director and Artistic Director of Lanling Ballet (Tainan City Ballet). She holds a Master’s degree in Arts Management from National Sun Yat-sen University and a Bachelor’s degree in Dance from Chinese Culture University. Renowned for her rigorous and world-class pedagogical background, Director Tsui is fully certified in the prestigious Russian Vaganova and Bolshoi systems. Over her decades of leadership, she has been a driving force in elevating dance education, cultivating local talent, and connecting Tainan’s ballet community to global stages. Furthering Tsui’s commitment to artistic excellence, Tsui completed advanced teacher training at the historic Vaganova Academy in St. Petersburg in 2024. This culminated in a certified Ballet Teacher Credential issued directly by the Ministry of Culture of the Russian Federation, bringing world-class, authentic ballet training to the company.
